Professor and Director of the Honors Program Valerie Evans’ wrote an opinion piece (Op-ed) titled “Ensuring a Legacy of Strong Women Voters” that was published in the Raleigh’s News & Observer on September 25. “I’ve always been an advocate for voting, having organized and participated in several voter registration drives,” Evans said. “So when Women AdvaNCe asked me to write an Op Ed on women and voting, I did not hesitate.”
