SAU Student selected for Fellowship Program in Israel in December
Saint Augustine’s University junior Naudia Gay has been selected as a participant in the Jewish National Fund’s Caravan for Democracy Student Leadership Mission to Israel in December. This program is the student component of the Jewish National Fund’s Sponsored Faculty Fellowship in Israel Program. Last Summer, Dr. Tyrell Carr, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological and Physical Sciences participated in the faculty program and assisted Ms. Gay with her application.
Ms. Gay was selected for the all-expense paid program, from a very competitive group of candidates for this intensive program. This mission links scholars from diverse disciplines with their Israeli counterparts, for the purposes of initiating cross-cultural and international exchange, while fostering relationships through collaborations.
Dr. Mark Melton, Dean of the School of Sciences, Mathematics and Public Health, its faculty and staff and the university community congratulate Ms. Gay on being awarded this opportunity to study abroad.
