The National Alumni Association (NAA) of Saint Augustine’s University, Inc. recently presented a check to the University for $11,000 to assist students with an immediate financial need. While this was the first time NAA has made such a contribution, NAA’s President, Pattye L. Brown, said “it was the right thing to do and the right time to do it. What we did was in keeping with one of the objectives of NAA, and that is to support our University financially so that students can remain in school and focus on their educational goals.”The National Alumni Association, supported solely by alumni, award annual scholarships to the University, which includes the Lloyd E. Quarterman Scholarship and the General Scholarship. The Office of Alumni Affairs is the point of contact for students to apply for NAA scholarships.
