Falcons are the new faces for CIAA-TV

Gentel Blair, a junior from Lexington, Ky. majoring in mass communication with a concentration in broadcast, and Amber Aldridge, a senior from Denver, Colo., majoring in film, are interning with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). Throughout their internship, they will be the face of the CIAA-TV, have the opportunity to work with the media, and travel to various CIAA athletic games and championships to record and report the games. Some of the latest events they have covered include basketball media day and the cross country, football and volleyball championship games.

“This experience that the CIAA has given Amber and I has been the highlight of our lives,” Blair said. “We are so humble and honored to have this opportunity to showcase our talents!”

Their upcoming assignments include covering the track and field competitions as well as the basketball games and CIAA championships.
